PolyЯRon A

Description

PolyЯRon A is a plasticising and set accelerating admixture for concrete. It is designed to facilitate the placing and finishing of concrete through plasticization while providing accelerated set time. It can act as an accelerating plasticizer for normal as well for glass reinforced concrete. Calcium chloride and proprietary ingredients present in PolyЯRon A accelerates the rate of hydration of the cement. The faster hydration rate reduces both initial and final set times, allowing the concrete to achieve higher early strength

Application area

PolyЯRon A is used for plain, structural and glass reinforced concrete in all applications. It can also be used in precast elements, concrete blocks and pre-stressed concrete.

Applicable standards

PolyЯRon A complies with ASTM C-494 type C and E.

Dosage

The normal dosage is 0.5 to 1.8 litre per 100kg cement. The optimum dosage should be determined by conducting laboratory/site trials considering proposed mix design, ambient conditions and performance requirement such as workability, early rate of hardening and compressive strength.
